The project is located on the Sai Kung waterfront in Hong Kong, as a public theatre. Integrating the surrounding spaces and making the most of the site's advantages was a major consideration. The raised main auditorium, with glass walls, draws the sea view into the theatre while becoming a jewel on the coastline at night. The main foyer is placed on the side close to the main traffic route, guiding pedestrians while buffering noise; the back-of-house area of the theatre is placed on the garden side and beneath the auditorium, enclosing an inner courtyard together with the existing pavilion.
